Second zippy bag with a twist. I made this one rectangular, didn't bother with quilting but added a second fabric. The left had picture is of the bottom. I'm dead chuffed with this one!
I've since done a search (I had no idea that the shape was called a teepee bag until I posted my first attempt) and there are some designs for this shape at DBS.

The two toned look is so good looking. I had made this kind of bag years ago before buying the embroidery machine and never with two different fabrics. Except for getting the shape exactly perfect every time on the embroidery machine it's quicker to make on a regular sewing machine for me minus the fancy designs and quilting.

You are right, but the ME version is so precise.

Lots of bags are made in the Tee-Pee shape - sewing patterns (which I had long before I had an embroidery machine) and embroidery patterns. Kinda like the snap top closure thing (or a zip closure) - no one owns the copyright to a shape.
So much neater on the embroidery machine - I just hate to do a zipper other than ME anymore!
I really like what you have done with yours - the two tones are really nice. I have some of both of those fabrics in my stash!

I'm always on the look out for musical fabric. What have you done with yours?
I made a quilt for my dad - all in music fabric. I have also made car trash bags, tissue cases, other zip cases, etc.
I'd very much like to see the quilt.

Elle est faite avec deux rectangles. Ils sont cousues ensemble autour de trois côtés. Puis le bord ouvert aplati withe le côté joints ensemble. (Thanks to google translate!)

your teepee bag is great, I have made mine with ribbons instead of the zipper! Zippers are intimidating for me! Hugs Loralye

Be brave, follow the instructions for a simple ITH zipped bag step by step and you will be fine! We all have to do a first one before we become an expert!

This is really cute. This one is kind of my favorite so far. About what size are they? What do you think you will use them for? My brain is kinda on overload tonight.

Still at the development stage. The biggest problem is explaining the instructions!
