I just finished my first set of coasters and thought I would share a picture of them. Thank you for your advice. I glued on each back a piece of foamie. I am pleased and plan on doing many more.

These are gorgeous. Love the colours. What a good idea to glue on a foam base. I must look out for something similar in South Africa.

Those are really nice. Is the design done on fabric, or is the whole coaster stitched on a background? Love the little lace edging to finish it off.

Your FSLace coasters turned out great and they look lovely.
I am glad they stitched out so well for you.
I hope Sewinhugs see these as she is the one that digitzed these Alphabet coasters that are all free in the Designs by Cutie Section.

You did a fantastic job with my coasters. They look so sweet and dainty. And using the foam on the back was a great idea. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for this lovely design. I stitched directly on to the water soluble and sandwiched in a piece of felt for substance and embroidered away. Close up, the coasters almost look like they are made of straw.
