Today I had to make a visit for hospice. It broke my heart. The man is 87 and had 2 strokes, I talked to the DIL who is the caregiver for a few minutes because I was early since it was first time I vist. It took all she could do not to cry. You see her husband passed 7 weeks ago and she had not been able to go to gravesite. She had no children to releive her, she called her husband's brother and all he wants to do is put her FIL in a nursing home. She won't do that. She told me her husband would want her to take care of him if at all possible. I am only allowed to make once a week visit or I would help her more. She is the most wonderful lady. I told her if I found a nurse stella pattern I would put it on a hanky for her hospice nurse. She wanted to give her something before she leaves her job and a long time of service. Ok my problem is I can't afford to buy the pattern and only have a 4x4 hoop does anyone know where to get one free? If not that is ok was just wondering.
