Here is a tip for you.
Buy the colors of thread you use the most in large cones - 5000 yard cones.
It saves you money and you will have to purchase those colors less often.

good question - enjoying seeing the answers as I haven't done enough to have to replace specific colors as I was fortunate enough to be able to get all the metro threads and ordered an extra black and a white. thanks

I use heaps of Robison Anton Rose Pink 2293, for breast cancer FSL designs I make up for local fund raisers.
Other than that I use Madeira Red 1147; all three Madeira Whites: 1001, 1002 & 1003; Madeira Black 1000 and TH Green 2607 from Robison Anton.
I think I use more Rayon thread than Polyester so I have given the numbers for Rayon threads.

Just like the ink in my printer, I tend to use the yellow to gold tones the most. I also find them the most facinating! my favorite color is still purple!!
