dress and purse for granddaughter:
I just finished this dress and purse for my granddaughter and will have to wait and see if it fits when she gets here next week. I used daisy kingdom simplicity 2433 pattern.... it looks a little wide and too long in the armholes.... Has anyone else used this pattern?

She will love the dress and purse. Once she tries it on for you, you can make the adjustment in the shoulder straps.

For some reason, this pattern had you sew the top to the straps in 4 places... I should have waited to try it on first, I guess, I could take that stitching out or just put a knit shirt under it. I will have to wait and see.

This is adorable. If the straps are too long for her, perhaps you could just tack them up, so that when she grows, she will still be able to fit this as a shirt. It is super cute!!
