A Stitch A Half has a sale on their totes. Many to choose from for $2.98 each. Then combine that with a discount code of $10.00 off a $20.00 order for fantastic savings. I just ordered 7 totes for less than $11.00, which figures out to about $1.55 per design.

Good for you, more profit when you sell them! Hope you make out well, that's a real bargain. Congrats, & thanks for letting others who sew for profit or charity know. Big help, hugs, Marji

I don't sew for profit, just for fun. But I like to make tote bags and give them for gifts. With 3 daughters and 6 grandaughters it isn't hard to find someone that could use a new tote bag.

Just looked at the site and am confused. Are you getting the Tote or just the designs for them? sorry it's one of my no brainer days. lol I'd love to get some if they are actually totes. Haven't seen this site before this. Got to be away for a few hours so will look for your reply when I get back. Hugs Judy aka nanabs

Just looked again. think it's just the designs you get and not the Tote. Still a great price though. Love the designs. Am I correct about this?

I understand that these are the complete totes (have some from stitchdelight). The London-tote would be mine if I could find a way to leave away those animals (mouse/ bear?). The one with sheeps is also very cute :o)

it's just the designs, you embroider them using your own fabric and put them together
by bevintex 24 Jun 2012
On the totes the site says" Change your fabric and Thread color to create a fresh new look"
by queenofhearts 24 Jun 2012
Yes, these are the designs to create your own tote. I have used designs from this site to make a couple of bags before and was very pleased with the results.

Once you have the basic design pieces, (each individual design is an ITH piece) for a bag you can change the embroidered design patterns to any design that you might wish as long as it fits in the outline. I hope that this makes sense, I know what I want to say but am having a hard time writing it.For example I changed the designs on the hummingbird tote to the Birds and Blooms set from Embroidery Library just by exchanging the design pattern.

to say,I am just having a hard time writing it,

Makes me wonder that there are just the designs for the decoration in the files and not the complete bag. Those I bought from Stitchdelight have all parts incl. to stitch the hole bag/ purse (flap, sides, bottom etc.).

Thanks for sending me shopping, LOL. I'd not bought anything there in a while. I had the newsletter, just needed the shove :) I also liked the sheep and London totes, but made sure I bought one of most of the styles. I like the shape of the peacock ones.
