To all our Cuties in UK. Have just seen Sky News and see that there is bad weather on it's way. Hope you all manage to keep dry. Hugs Sarah.

I have not seen Sky news but (as usual) its pouring down again. There are many flood alerts about. Last night I went out and collected a colleague who lives in a village close by that was very badly flooded a month ago. There are still many piles of waterlogged posessions waiting to be collected by peoples front gates. I had many phone calls from friends after the floods asking were we OK and dry. Think we will be renaming June and July as the flood months :(

I do have wellies, although I do not wear them very often here in SA. We are also expecting heavy rain tomorrow.

Don't wanna sound nasty but a few weeks ago I have seen a report that England has not enough rain and there will be a drouth in summer. It's not good when it comes all at once but the pics from the nearly dry rivers were really alarming.
Hope that not too much is coming and that the harvest has an advantage from the rain.
Greetings, Bettina
PS: We have here in Germany hot weather with a thunderstorm nearly every night for the last 2 weeks. Today it is pouring almost the hole day :o(

Thanks for the kind thought, I don't think our floods are as bad as some other countries' but we have had a fatality just recently, which is hard for family. Hopefully enough warning has been given to enable precious items to be moved. Jan

Yes, seems to be a tragedy in England going on...my girl friend in Lincoln tells me all the time it is raining, raining, raining and cold....she said it started several weeks ago when the Government restricted the use of water due to dryness. My girl friend said they assume that the Gulf stream changed its way already. Hope this is not true.. but hopefully you'll go back to normal soon - in contrary it seems to be far too hot in the USA whilst we encounter sudden changes of weather in Germany actually - this is another strange summer

don't know how the weather is there now. But we had a lot of rain today. I went out with the dog and even had to change my clothes they were wet all over. so hope the sunny times will come soon. Hugs, Gerry
