Bibs

I just had to try the 'bapron' pattern. They are lined with the printed flannel you see in the background. I digitised a small boat similar to the ones on the fabric and copied it 3 times. Made a second bib and enlarged the boat pattern. I played a bit with remnants of bias tape and like the result.

Oh Martine - these are just adorable. I love the way you used the multi-colored bias tape. That really makes the apron bright and cheerful. Your little boats are fabulous!

Thank you. Yes I did the original size. Maybe a bit small but I usually make them from guesttowels, so I could use some smaller ones.

Very nice work. Being able to digitise certainly adds to the results. Jan

Thanks. It may add to the results, but it slows down the process. I had small sailing boats, but they were just a bit different.

These look really nice, Martine! I love your matching boats with the lining and the colors of the binding on the one on the left is just plain fun How wide was your binding? Aren't these fun to stitch!?!?! Adorable, wish you could try them on Dani Ann :-)

Both are lovely but the multicoloured tape makes the bapron stand out better. Great designs.
