TIP: I was in need of a bit extra space to load my stablizer in my hoop. I happened to nitce one day that my smallest cutting mat was about the size of my drawer on my sewing cabinet. So I place the cutting mat on the drawer and now I have a space that I can load my stalbizer in my hoop without going to the larger table. It sure helps when you are loading and re-loading your hoop with a project.

Yep, having lots of work stations helps and just like pull out cutting boards in a kitchen cabinet. Live Laugh Download Stitch!

This is the kind of thing I like. Time and motion makes sewing more interesting, that's why I do more than one of an item and anything to help is good. Jan

Great tip, thanks! It makes things much easier when you have what you need close to hand, rather than have to get up all the time, or even go into another room. And you were smart enough to make use of something you already had, leaves more money for fabric or designs, hee hee hee. Good for you! Hugs, Marji

That is a great idea! I think I have one that will fit on my little pull out drawer of my old oak desk! I wonder if it will still slide with it on there......

Thank you for this tip. Have been doing similar for a long time now. It really saves time and space to be able to rehoop so quickly.***
