Can you imagine what it would be like first discovering this website?! When I found it, there were only about 400 pages of free downloads: Now there are over 3000 pages of free designs! Thank YOU to all the Cuties who so generously share their creative, detailed work! It takes a lot of time converting, photographing, describing and posting - in addition to the digitizing!

We are really blessed. I have seen many changes. I was here before it was possible for members to supply free designs. It was a suggestion/question by a member that Veronika picked up on and provided that feature as well as others along the way. I'm hoping that a couple of the features will re-appear that we lost in the last revison of the site. We are fortunate to have this site!

I was a member when the DBC page was first offered and was one of the first to post a design, on 2008-09-19 to be precise. It has sure grown since then!

Martine, Do you know when this site became offical ? could it be on 1st of September ? At the B-list I got, on the 1st of September, there's written "CUTE EMBROIDERY SITE". I was always wondering what this entry means.

Yes, when I fisrt came here when it was pretty new (don't let the small count of flowers fool you) About the only thing was the free designs offered a few posts and projects. I wasn't interested in the free designs as I didn't get here often enough to get the usual free alphas, my thing was I loved to browse the projects every few weeks. That's the main reason for my being here, thinking if I ever get any free time again I want to make some of the wonderful things I saw.

I joined in June 2009. Since then the site has been a blessing in my life! In addition to embroidery, and all learning, I found here wonderful FRIENDS! These friends, who will be forever in my heart. We do not know personally, but there is a great affection netre us. This is priceless! I love this site and I have great affection for the friendships that I won here.

It was sooo many yrs ago when I found this and I was just getting 1 free design a day.It was a piece at the time of an alphabet. I had never been on a site like this one and I would collect the letter and go back to what I was doing elsewhere. Oh Boy Hh that changed!
