I spent the day tye-dying t-shirts & then we did scraps of fabric too,with my 2 older grandkids, We had sew much fun & now we all have purple fingers, LOL

Did you know you can tye dye with sharpie markers and alcohol. Draw your design,use eye dropper or spray bottle with rubbing alcohol to wet the design and watch the colors run together. Look for tutorials on you tube.

Lol put some javex on your hand that takes dye off .I love your shirt they are fun to do .We tryed little ties all over the shirt turned out great to hugs carolyn

i am so happy you got to share this with your grands!! today my g'son (4 years old) helped me paint a cabinet..translation..3 shelved little wall hanger. we had such a great time!! he was teaching my mom (81yrs young) how to paint..doesn't get any better than this!

These look fantastic. We cut an old plastic milk carton in half, 3/4 fill with thin bleach, Twist and tie a section of cloth, we use wire and wind it all the way up the twist,round, makes a nice pattern, dip the wound bit in the bleach for 5 to 10 minuets, wear gloves and protection for your clothes, untie the the wire or rope wash and you can get some good effects.
