july 15, the day my parents would have been married for 70 years but they died together sadly enough, 30 years ago in august. Even it's a long time ago, this special date always brings back memories. So I hope all cuties who are still having their parents around be happy with them. Let them know you love them. I loved mine. Hugs, Gerry

Gerry, my parents died many years ago, too, and I miss them terribly still. I am so thankful that I told them how much they meant to me on a regular basis, and that I loved them! Today would have been my father's birthday, so lots of things bring on the memories. Hugs to YOU!

I have the privilege of having my parents LIVE! This week, July 12, they did 69 years of marriage. My mother is very ill, both are very elderly and sick. But, I love them very much and am happy they are with us.

Gerry, you do always remember. I have seen you post several years and I think it's just so special. I don't have any parents and I know how you feel. Sending you lots of hugs on this their special day. ;)

I tell my friends who are lucky enough to still have one or both parent to cherish them. My daughters and grandchildren never say goodbye without telling me they love me. It is something that I never said to my mother and I will regret it forever. Hugs to you Gerry. Sarah.

So sorry but i do understand you, I am lucky my parents are both well 86 and 94 , It was probably very painful for you , both parents at the same time.I lost my DH 14 months ago and i ask my self why God did not take us together, i wont be in such a messy stage, my rollercoaster ride I think will never end.
