Always do the satin stitch as knits will tend to run and it will look more finished. Use the cut away staabilizer or iron on stabilizer so the knit will not stretch out as you sew it. Hope that helps. Suzanne

I tried a sample of the free butterfly cutwork with wash-a-way stablizer and it turned out good so I think that is the way I will do the blouse I plan to make but will be on vaction the next week so will post it when it is finished , thank for all the info I got on my question.
