Last week I posted that my ex husband had died. My daughter is on her way to Johannesburg for his memorial service on Sunday. She left Italy last night. It will be good to know when she arrives and is safe. Sarah.

I just saw this, so I hope your daughter is in Johannesburg safe and sound by now. I hope the memorial service will provide some peace for her, and that she will have people around to comfort her & let her talk about her dad, share stories and memories, share loss, and love. I hope you can find peace about it as well, as you did remain friendly, and it is still a loss to mourn. Peace, hugs, Marji

Thank you all for your kind words. Unfortunately Charlotte and I will not see each other. I will not be travelling to Johannesburg. Charlotte phoned me last night to tell me she had arrived. There will be much more 'chatting' today. * 4 all. Hugs Sarah.

Sarah, I know your heart is heavy that you can't be with her during this event. At least you can communicate with her, and she knows you totally understand all her emotions about losing a dad who never really made her feel important to her. How has she done? Hugs to your heart too, Jan
