Hi everyone, I'm back from holidays and catching up with the "normal" stuff.
Yesterday a few of us Cuties met at Meg's for lunch and a chat. Thanks Meg for your hospitality and it was lovely to meet up with Auntydee (Di)and Moyed (Helen). Not forgetting Olly (Coral) and Nonna57 (Pauline or Polly as Meg calls her). Another lovely lady that Meg has met through a craft group came too and her name was Rada. Us Cuties had lunch where each bought something and it was yummy! I only took a couple of piccies, but we all had a great time. As it was my turn to give gifts, I gave Pauline the eyeglass case as she loved it so much and I made pot holders for the rest of the ladies. I think next time it's Coral's turn to make us something.
As my keyboard died on Tuesday Meg loaned me a rubber one (which folds up) and I tried it, but went out this morning and bought a new one and an extra 4 hub USB holder. I'm in my element now!
Love to all - I'm off to sew some white ribbons on the aprons for one of Dana's dance routines for the school concert - Chris

Thankyou to all cuties for a lovely day. It was a 254klm round trip for Olly and myself. Thankyou Helen for tips on the "pincushion/ ringcushion" i am making. Thanks Meg for hosting the get together. DOH next time i"ll catch you unawares :))Auntyd it was lovely to meet you. Hope you enjoyed our boystress ") get together, we are a mad lot. What you see is what you get.. Just goes to show - time and travel are nothing in Australia! We used to travel 100 miles (in the old days) up to Burra to visit family. And now there are freeways, which makes it faster. Love Chris

Chris, I might seriously question your "normal" stuff! With this crew, I don't think I would use that word. HA! Looks like you all had fun and Pauline, I really don't think you look like a "dag" at all. (I did go look up the meaning.) You do look a bit like an onion-head. haha ;)

It sounds like you all have so much fun - that is super and glad to hear that the group is growing. What was Helen holding up - behind Pauline's onion head and Meg? I didn't see any pictures of you or the pot holder! I am so happy for each of you - to have the other.

She was holding up a cloth so you wouldn't see the kitchen, but we already had a piccie with Meg in there anyway. Of course none of me as I'm the picture taker! Love Chris

I came downstairs last night and wrote a whole long message about our fantastic day and when I hit the "submit" button, the Query Error page came up and I lost the lot. Needless to say I was not very happy. :-(
I can't possibly remember everything I said but I do remember thanking our Good Lord for for letting me live so that I was here to participate in this most fantastic day of friendship with these phenomenal women, who are my dearest friends. I am truly blessed.
I thank you all for making the effort to come and bring such joy and love into my home and my life.
I can't remember the last time I enjoyed myself so much,
the day was just the most amazing day of laughter and fun. There wasn't a single awkward moment and never a dull one either. LOL!!!
Thank you all for your edible contributions, and also the beautiful gifts.
Now I only have one slight problem Chris.... Ray's nose is out of joint because I have such a lovely placemat on my bedside table and he only has a tissue to put his things on. LOL!!!
