I have had sew many interuptions this week it took me all week just to sew out this simple picnic blanket, but I am delighted with it! I am going to back it with denim. Now on to ..........

I was inspired by a simular project in the August/Septmeber 2012 issue of McCall's Quick Quilts. As soon as my mag came in the mail I knew I had to do it but in the mag they are 10"blocks mine are 5.5" & I wanted mine bigger & I added the sashing & border to mine. I was thrilled when I found the green grapes fabric for the outside border I think it is a terrific match

I'm sorry I just bought a jelly roll of the 15 fabrics @ the quilt show in May & I have very little of it left but nothing on the salvages. If you are in Canada I did see some simular @ Fabricland this week. Thanks & good luck
