I believe Aurora was a nice quiet community and this is a strange deranged action by someone not well in the head. I watched the coverage and it is horrible. Glad you are safe. We need to pray for America.

So glad you are safe, Jan. I had wondered how close this was to you. My heart has been so saddened listening to all the pain and heartache from those who have lost loved ones. I feel for his family, but IMHO, he is one mean, cruel, uncaring being. This malicious act was premeditated and planned for quite awhile, including the destruction of the apartment complex (and lives) where he lived! He was desperate for noteriety and widespread publicity to be a "KNOWN" figure in society! He's NOT insane, just mean, as hell!!

The toll on lives and injuries and the way all of that affects others is truly horrifying. So glad to hear that you and those you know are safe.
