Anybody updated to Embird 2012 yet?
puh, finally online again. had a bad virus and had to put up a new computer /hard disk with the help of dear hubby, only thing running is internet and embird, he he he office things and email account must wait to get back to work, need some fun time now for my nerves. Be sure to have a good antivirus software up to date, a not to old backup,and a list of all the programm software your need to be happy. We had quite a time to look up all the small programs, drivers and I still need to put the backup files back to the new computer and perhaps I can get them into a new file system now.

wie furchtbar :o( Das ist immer mein Alptraum. Hast Du Dir den Viurs mit dem embird-update geholt??? Dann hätte ich ja ein gutes Agrument, warum ich mich immer mit Händen udn Füssen gegen jedes UpDate wehre (mein neues iPhoto ist Sch...; ich hätte so gerne mein altes zurück!). Na, dann lass die Nevern bzw. die Seele bißchen baumeln und geniesse die Wetteraussichten :o)

Oh nein der Virus ist NICHT von Embird ich musste mir nur meine exe neu DL und hab gesehen es gibt einen update für 20USD auf die 2012 Version und mich gefragt was die wohl Neues kann. Mit updates geht es mir ebenso je später je besser! Wetter - toll - ab morgen gehe ich wieder arbeiten.

I've been looking for a post that mops (I think) did on the new upgrade, telling us what it had to offer., etc.
..... I'm still looking for it !
I feel your pain regarding your computer. I had the very same thing happen to me 2 weeks ago.
I still haven't got everything back the way it was yet, but yes, I do have my embird up and running :)

I have and it's working well except for a bug concerning the Janome 240 x 200 hoop. Dusan has figured out the solution and expects to post an upgrade in a week or so.
