I've drawn and digitised some floral frames today and am now in the process of trying them out. This is a stitch-out of the first one, and being a frugal soul I added the figures so I can use it on a birthday card for my Mum (83 next Monday.) I hope the others stitch out OK; this one has WAY too many jump stitches, I think I must have spent as much time snipping as sewing! Off to sew number 2 now - back soon :-)

This is beautiful Dianned your Mum will love it. The butterflies are pretty & your chosen colours match to perfection. Well done with the digitising too.

Nicely digitized and beautiful stitched out. Avoiding jump stitches is difficult. I have noticed that in some designs the digitizer chooses to make long jump stitches instead of shorter ones by going zigzag over the design instead of taking the next part in the same colour in order to make the cutting easier. Bit wasteful on thread maybe, but definitely easier snipping afterwards. Flower for your beautiful design.

You realy did a great job on this one! How much time did it take to design?

This was the first of the three so it took longest; I drew the design with Paint Shop Pro then transferred it to Customiser Easy Import and digitised it there. It probably took a couple of hours all told (it was very fiddly and took a lot of trial and error!) but it could have been more, I tend to lose all sense of time when I'm at the computer!
