I've been trying to stitch out the cute trains from tommyfree set but they don't come out right, the outline is to thin and the colors are to far apart- is it just me?

I've been collecting them for slightly over a week now. I have not stitched any out. Are they any good at all......now I'm worried. Has anyone had luck with them and should I still be collecting them?

Thanks auntbaba. I'm still trying to learn the site and all it has to offer, especially the flower power going on. My flowers have wilted I guess, they have taken on a grey color. LOL

I have been collecting them, but have not stitched any. Now I know I will need to stitch a test before using any on my final fabric. Thanks for the information. *4U Sue

I've stitched out a couple of the cars from another of their sets and they stitched out OK, Haven't tried the trains. Maybe you could post the one you are having trouble with and someone else could try it out if they have it.

I have d/l a few sets but havent stitched them out yet lol but i will give it a go and see. When i had the same trouble with the colours too far apart my embroidery teacher told me that it had something to do with the hooping up not being tight enough or the stabilizer underneath anyway try again and see good luc :) * 4 u

I have made sure my fabric is tight, even tried a heavier fabric, next step is double stablizer but that can get to expensive. Maybe I'll just delete all their designs and use something else, heaven knows I've got plenty of others! hahahahahaha thanks for all your help.

I have been collecting these sets as well, and also haven't stitched any out yet. Although it is very generous for them to give away whole sets, I am a little suspicious that the pictures they show with the sets are the art work and not stitch outs.
