ok cuties i have a question i bought se400 brother for my sis in law my question is can i use bigger hoops too on this machine or only 4x4 thanks for your time ...hugs Brenda

Any machine that is made to do 4x4 will only do 4x4, you can buy hoops that are bigger but all they do is make it so you don't have to move the hoop on your fabric when doing extra things in the area of it. I have the same limit and it can be frustrating but that's all it will do.

Oh ok now i understand why they say i can stitch only 4x4 thanks you so much for letting me know i bought the machine for my sis in law now she will have to learn to combine designs as well lol

Thanks i was told i can use only 4x4 by some one and started to think whether i bought the machine which can stitch only 4x4

The larger hoops are used for split designs. That would be a 4 x 7 design split for this type hoop. I also gave a 400! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
