This is a project for a gal my hubby works with, she is in a play for a cancer fundraiser and needed a tshirt with a super hero shield on it..she gave me the artwork and said she needed it to look like shiny metal, so mylar to the rescue!!

I made an applique shield then filled it with ripple stitches which I stitched over the mylar with gold thread, and then put her red letters in and finished with the applique border...I think it looks metalic and shiny, don't you?
