Here are half tea towels using potholders as toppers - friends don't get any as family usually take the lot.

Very pretty indeed, if I was a family member I would also take the lot :)

Cool idea where did you get it?

I grab teatowels to make up all the time with fabric toppers, but as these came with the square potholders thought why not & it worked - haven't seen them like this anywhere - my creative grey cells!

Gorgeous! What a great idea for that person that has everything! One question--how do you attach the towel to the potholder?

Stitch the pleated or gathered top of the tea towel behind the bottom edge of the potholder going as close to the edge as you can. I finish it with bias binding to give it a neat finish.
TY!

Now that's a new way to use them on pot holders! I have seen the fold over and button but I like this better cause the only place I can put a fold over is the oven door. This can go on any hook!

Great idea! I seem to use the ends of the towels for potholders anyway, because the towel is right there, and I'd have to reach for the potholder, I guess. This would solve two problems with one item, and I wouldnd't have a drawer full of pot holders that don't get used. Very clever! Hugs, Marji
