Oh Sarah that is too bad. Maybe you can cheat a little with a marker? is it just the outline or a filled part that's gone wrong?

I have a back up battery on my machine. Gives you time to shut down the machine and save your place to continue when the power is restored. Saved me a few times plus protects your expensive machine. Not a power strip a back up battery. I got mine at the computer store near me. Suzanne

Shucks & #@#!...I had my issues yesterday with that darn owl...my machine kept telling me I had the wrong hoop when I was 1/2 way through the design and it would not go at all....I even shut everything down and rebooted sewing machine & computer and it still was telling me it didn't like the hoop.....have a feeling I have a sensor going bad...YIKES!! I just kept pushing the button until it finally took, but it did it again a couple of time during the stitchout, so that tells me there is trouble brewing....boo hoo!!

I'd be cussing worse than that Sarah! Plus my neighbors would hear me! Hope it turned out well anyway!

I sometimes push the "off" button instead of the "pause" button and it is very difficult for me to get back to the place where I left off. I did that on the last design I stitched and did not notice that I restarted on the wrong spot until I was completely done and had taken it out of the hoop. I did some freehand embroidery on it, but I need a technique to help me get back to where I left off. Or a popup screen on my machine...Do you really want to turn off here?

Hi Sarah, we still get regular power failures in our area in Gauteng. Fortunately my hubby connected my PC & embroidery machines to a battery back-up, I have enough time to casually shut down if he is not home. If he is at home we switch power to a generator and I can continue at leisure! Also prevent damage to electrical and electronical equipment!!!

Oh dear, you sound today like I sounded on the weekend. Halfway through a complicated design and our power also went off!!!!!! Very irritating indeed!!!!! My hubby is in the process of sorting out a battery backup so he doesn't have to listen to me spitting in fury :) :)

We had the power go out while I was stitching out a design. I remembered just about what stitch count it was on and got the manual out to see how to advance the count. Had to manually press forward almost 28,000 stitches, finally with the eraser of a pencil. My finger got tired. lol Hope the design finished out nice for you.
