He owns a small computer business. So he has alot of computer parts laying around. It seems the motherboard blew out on my pc. This happened at 11am this morning and about 630pm, he had me a new pc and I was embroidering again. I am so lucky to have a wonderful DH like I do. I did not lose any data (or designs) but can you imagine if I did not have him? I cannot stress enough to everyone to BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP everything!!!!!!! Not just your designs, but anything you do not want to lose. It only takes a few minutes to burn a CD. DO IT TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Must be the time for it. My laptop blue screened last night -first warning of potential problems. My last Laptop backup had been a week ago, which is far too long when you consider how much we all do in a week, so I stayed up until 3 AM doing an up to date back up and also moving files to my desktop ready for burning to disc. So have to reinforce your advice, can't stress it enough. BACKUP! hugs n roses, M
