Alot has happened since I have been gone...illnesses...no more foster kids...so much over time at work...and the latest..My DH went on a mission trip to build a home for a family in guatamala...he also visited the Kyrois/kyros house in Antigua...If you ever felt the need to help a place out this is the place...They are a family that takes terminally ill children in (with their family) to stay until the child by a miracle survives or until their little lives are Taken to Heaven...the week my Dh arrived...the had lost 4 of the children to death...one the night before they got there...We sent down those animal hats for the kids to have, blankets, I made puppets, and we bought puppets, toys. a few onsies...they were so thrilled even being sick and the loss of the other lives...its an average of 15 children..Our churched had asked if they needed anything special and was told clothes for both the women and children that come in....The family that opened there doors to start this tries very hard to keep a place open for these families...sometimes we forget how much we have an how little others have....I know when my DH came back, there was a change in how we will be doing things...I will be going next year so that I may also share in the lives of others.I would post pictures, but I do not permission to post other people here...
