Has this happened to you?? I unzipped Sonia Showalter's beautiful Lavender Font, and Oh dear, the zipped letter "N" was corrupted and only contained DST and ART files. I though I could just change to PES, but no, the size was also incorrect. Should I make contact with Sonja, if so, how do I go about it. Thanks

If you got Sonia's designs from OPW Mall, send them an e-mail letting them know what happened, they're really good about fixing things. Or if you ordered from Sonia's website, contact her thru the site. This is only so they can go back and look to see that it was ordered and sent or downloaded, and where the problem is. There's no reason to feel bad about telling them this happened, it may have happened to others as well. It could be somehow corrupted in thier upload in PES, or could have gotten scrambled in the zipping, download, or unzipping process. If they don't know there's a problem, they can't fix it, so by all means let them know. They're both great at solving problems, and very nice. Hugs, Marji

I've never had one corrupt from Sonia, but mistakes happen to the best of us. Below is the link to let her know there is a problem. ;)

It's happened to me a couple of times in the past on the Sonia site..I use to order her things through Stitchery Mall so if this happened, you could redownload from your account...Don't think Sonia has this feature...Stitchery Mall not active anymore, so I just open her files immediately so if they are corrupt I can go back and get while still free...let us know if you have success getting it replaced after the fact...Good Luck

I just checked mine. I looked at it before I unzipped it and it looked OK. I then unzipped it and it was still OK. I think you may have just gotten a fluke. Hope she will help you out.

Mine was fine also, however a couple of times I have had a problem downloading anything. It seems to just stop mid-stream while I am ordering. I really think it is something I am doing wrong because I will stop and go back later and all is okay! I had always used Stitchery Mall until it closed. I loved the fact that you could go back and see what you had ordered from the beginning. I hate that they closed! Of course, changes are what life is about! Hope you get it solved.

When you download and the file is corrupted---99% of the time it is not the fault of the place where you download from. It could be due to you multi- tasking, your computer may be doing an update in the back ground, or if you are using wireless it could be a split second interuption in your signal. I could go on and on but i hope you get the idea. There is no way to know exactly why (unless you are a computer tech )
If the giver has given a corrupted file, all of those downloads would be corrupt. Like you did, it is good to check with others who downloaded, about their file.

I have no doubt whatsoever that the problem occurred whilst I downloaded, I was most likely multi-tasking or something went pear-shaped with my wireless connection, which does give me trouble at times. Everyone else received perfect files, so the fault was on my side. Thanks for your imput.

was definitely from my side. Many thanks for your input.
