Made this book bag for my sister. I quilted the background fabric then embroidered the applique owl, from Designs byJuju, on it. It has a tape measure snap type closure at the top. My biggest challenge was to make it with no raw edges. It is fully lined. I did suceed but I riped out stitches a couple of times. It is about 9" x 11". I am quite pleased with my results. I did not have a pattern just the idea in my head. Thanks for looking, Susan
