The background is from an other coaster from a freebee of Maria’s Embroidery (I delete the original design and then copy and paste the owl design in it)
Thank you for the info. I like the coaster because it is plain. I am going to put Xmas designs on them for gifts.

Mine idea was to sew 6; since you have 6 places at a table. I see them as placeholders under a glass of wine or so.

I read about leaving the letter of; come cuties mentioned it and so I got the idea. the letter stiches on the applique as an extra; so easy to select and press delete
