WOW, what a weekend we (Mum and I) had at the Newcastle Women's 42 Cursillo.
I can't thank everyone who was praying for me during the 4 days. I've come back renewed in my faith and Mum had a wonderful time and met some lovely ladies.
We only had 2 girls under 30, 2 around 50-60 and the rest (12) over 70!!!!!
The Lord is good and we had perfect weather, lots of singing, prayers, fun, friendship and loads of tears! The Healing Eucharist was amazing and our Bishop Peter presented all the candidates with a wooden cross made by one of our Veteran Cursillistas.

I'm so glad for you, Chris, that you and your mum had this wonderful opportunity! It's great to see women get together like this, to share and build their faith. Now you all can go back into the world and share that light with others who haven't had this opportunity. And I'm glad all your presents were a hit, too. Too bad you can't share photos, but I'm imagining ear-to-ear grins on all your faces. What an uplifting experience, so glad you were able to go with your mum to this Cursillo. Hugs, Marji
