It is beautiful, I tried to make a book cover for a book but than found that the material was too thick and the book could not close properly, this seems quite thick material too and seems fine.
Have you any tips what I might have done wrong or a link how you did yours, thanks

when you did the section at the spine of the book I cut this serrate and then did a top stitch ver close to the seam to help it close.a long the outside I finished like you would a quilt cutting this fabric about2and a half inches on the bias, hope this will help you
