I stitched this out on a sweater for my daughter. On the fleece the design misaligned but on the denim bag it stitched nicely. Any hints on a better way to stabilize or what I may be doing wrong? I used iron-on tearaway on this one.

I`m no expert in embroidering (I`m just learning), but I have read that for fleece should be cutaway stabilizer. If you are interested to read more about it, I recommend Emblibrary- there are wide "library" all kind of info about embroidering.Here is a link to embroidering on fleece

Sorry Jasanne this link didn`t get you there. Write :fleece -above that Search Projects .In next link -there you can read embroidering on fleece. Hope this helps you!
Thankyou for this, i've had a look through. I will be making a poncho shortly for another daughter, so will have to try cutaway on that one.

Definitely use cut away, not tear away stabilizer because fleece stretches. Regardless, I think this kitty came out nice on both pieces! ;-) Where did you download her from? Nice job Jasanne...

Very nice, and you got what I think was the correct answer - use cutaway on the fleece. That is a cute design.

My daughter chose the design, it does look nice (and the fussy side of me says it looks good as long as you don't look TOO close!)

These are so cute. They both look nice in the picture, but cut away stabilizer would be the choice for the fleece. Isn't it nice that we have this "pool" of information at our fingertips? You have to love this group!!! *4U sue
