Earlier today I received the most beautiful birthday gift a friend can give. A personal phone call from Karen (Kttyhwk4) all the way from Arkansas to Australia.

A chance to talk to, and hear the voice of, someone so dear to me is the best gift I could ever imagine.
Who would ever believe that friendships could grow, and mean so much, even though we may never meet.
Even Ray was totally chuffed to join in our conversation and I'm sure Karen had no idea what he was talking about when he started on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the (newer) harbour tunnel that runs underneath it. LOL!!!!
