This is a Oops Save. I can't believe it, but I did it - I forgot to rotate the design and so this kitty I digitized, went on sideways onto a T-shirt I was making for the Animal shelter's sale. grrrrrrrrrrr I thought I was over making that mistake! So.. I added a second layer of the t-shirt fabric, clipped it out and then fringed the outline. I then appliqued it onto another T-shirt. The colors are weird, so I also gave it a ribbon and it actually looks okay! It should have that raggy edge when it is washed. I donated it anyway, so I hope someone will adopt this kitty! When am I ever going to remember to rotate the design???

I love to see the saves of others. I have my own stories so welcome to my club. I think it is a great save.

Great save as they say there is no mistakes only a chance to show our arty side. Well Done. Hugs Joyce

Great way to salvage the design, the fringe is cute. As for not rotating, been there more often than I would like to admit.

I made it to be a patch. I'll upload it to DBC, now that I know it sewed fine. It helps if you stitch it the right direction.

Great design you digitized, Jan. Did you add the fringe to cover the fact that he needed turning around? It looks excellent, whatever you did to 'save' the situation! It'd make a great patch for mending, too.

I especially like the raggy edge! What a good idea. And, I think the colors are great. Of course, you happened to use my favorite colors. I am going to use your idea. The design is so sweet and suited to what you did. Thanks for sharing.

I just love this wild-colored kitty! I like the fringe idea, it's very cute. Rotate designs? Oh, messed that up more than I care to admit. I have an upside down design on my shorts and one towel, because I didn't pay attention to which way the screw on the hoop was facing when I digitized it. They're, uh, "conversation pieces", hee hee hee. Hugs, Marji

Well I think your Oops made a beautiful kitty. I think the colors go great - the bow ties it all together. The eyes also help pull it together. I bet it will be one of the first to be adopted. I love it.
