the birthday blocks are all sent as 4inch blocks & they are the givers choice, but based on Winter Spring Summer or Fall. We will find out who made what @ the end of the year. We send a photo of what we made & our name to the recipient then.

Just take some fabric and put around all 4 sides to "frame" this stitchout. Then cut to the size you need. Hope this works for you, such a nice design. Betty

Nice summer block and see you decided to frame around, which is what I would go for.

Do the border as already suggested, or cut the other blocks down to this size. Depends on how it will look if this is the only framed one.

the only problem with cutting them down the blocks will loose their sides & blocks like the sailboat... a quarter inch seam will take off the water & the same for most of them. Sew I guess I will have to add to them
but thank you, Hugs Loralye

A border as suggested below would fix the problem, using one of the existing colours

We had the same problem with a community quilt that we are making in my quilt club. So we are going to sash each of the blocks. The smaller ones will all go in one row with a slightly wider sashing. That little amount will not be noticeable, and that way, all of the blocks will fit. Enjoy the process!

I would add a frame to 3 sides, to equal it out, as it is a little off center,in the same tone on tone fabric, so as not to be as noticable. Just my opinion-Toogie

stitchout looks good - you have a couple of good suggestions already - so just go with your instinct, you always do a great job!
