Must I use a special needle to embroider on jean?

I used a 14/90 emb needle to do emb on fairly thick denim. Had no problems with it. *4u

No. I have done regular embroidery on scrap jean material to show samples before. Never had a problem.

I, too, use a 90/14 for jeans. But that would be up to your machine which one she prefers.;)

No I use a regular needle for jeans . A flower for you.

I use either a 90/14 jeans needle or an embroidery needle (90/14 too). The eye of the first is large enough not to fray the thread.

I use a jean needle also, but was told that you could use your regular needle..
