Can anyone tell if they have found a good place on-line (or a store) where they can buy clear plastic light switch plate covers?

Well, I don't know where to get one, but I sure do remember them. People used to wallpaper the walls, and paper the switchplates and outlet covers to match. They purchased these clear covers to protect the wallpaper, because it was actual paper back then, and would get dirty and/or wear out. I've also seen people do artistic things like drawings or painting on the switchplates to match a room, say like a 'sea' theme, and use the covers to protect the artwork. Now, let me guess, Loralye; you're going to embroider a switchplate cover, and want to protect it! I've seen these embroidered switchplate covers, even have some, they can be quite cute. Let us know how this turns out, I can't believe they never even heard of the things! Best of luck, hugs, Marji
