Corn Roast Apron - I embroidered this for our host. He loved it and wore it all afternoon (which was such a compliment!). I created the name myself, but I'm sorry I can't remember where I got the corn design. Hope you like it as much as he did.

thanks! Don't remember where I got the design, but I repeated it 3 times and turned the top leaves to point up a bit.

Thanks! Not sure if he would have been a "willing" model, so I cropped him just in case.

Finding apron designs that are good for men can be a challenge, but this design is great! Good work!

Thank you. I agree - men can be difficult (in so many ways!!), but this design was just perfect for the occasion and I couldn't resist. My husband also liked it. Guess that means I'll have to make him one as well. Thanks for looking.

This is wonderful - what does Sniderhof mean? Love Chris

It's the name of his homestead. Our host build his own home out of a log cabin that his ancestors original built - back in their time. Quite an accomplishment don't you think?!!

I love this apron. It is for sure a good one for guy. I would love to do the corn and verse it with corn fed.

I like aprons as well, and enjoymaking them for others, too.

I created the lettering from an American Gothic font, and used the text tools in my software. Not sure where you might find a similar looking alphabet - sorry.
Thanks!

How large are the letters in your name. This apron looks really great. Putting it on a black apron makes the designs really pop out.

Thank you! The size of the lettering is 50 pt. I could have gone a little larger, but I didn't know how tall he was, or how the apron would fit him. So I just centered the whole design + text combination in the bib section of the apron. Glad you like it!

Thanks! We didn't make it to the Corn Roast this past summer, due to a scheduling conflict, but I would have been interested to see if he wore his apron again.

Thank you - I used a pre-made apron that I purchased at a party supply shop. It was quite inexpensive, and "blank" - perfect for embellishing with embroidery.
