Does anyone know how to embroider designs on soap? I want to do some for Christmas presents. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Roberta

Emb library has a tutorial for embroidering on soap. It explains it better than I can. Joyce

I don't think it is there any more. I searched for it and could not find it.

Thanks! I will be trying it soon. I like the idea of the Mod Podge. I was wondering how the design was going to stay on.

Roberta, I used WSS stablizer . when you take out of the water lay on bar of soap( the WSS will be stichey and stick to the soap when dry. ) I wrap in saran wrap and place a label on the back " For Decorative purposes only "

Hi Roberta - I did a design on soap a while ago - I expect is is lost in projects. It is actually very easy. Just do not use glycerine soap as it took about a month to thoroughly dry!!! Good luck and let us know how it turns out. Sarah.

I'd like to use small soap bars for this. Does anyone know where to get some?
