I have a stabilizer tip too: If your short & in a pinch I have used coffee filters they are perfect tear aways & very inexpensive! Hope that you remember this in a pinch too!

Thank you sounds great. I am just a little concerned about using anything but the proper relevant stabilser!! If my machine gets jammed I am absolutely stuc! No Brother franchise in Malta to take my machine to.

I remember hearing something about coffee filters, but I couldn't remember what it was. Thanks for telling us again. I will have to put this in my tips page that I have been keeping. Thank you.

If I am making it for myself and it is not a detailed design, I have used freezer paper. It tears away great after stitching. Only problem if you have a lot of little spaces, it is hard to get out. Thanks for your tip.
