I'm not sure I understand. Just what are the "spammers" doing in projects? What do we have to look for. And how do we know which one's to avoid? Thank you.

When you see the spammers you will understand that it is not a normal posting. Its usually a long list of odd items for sale. Just ignore it and pass on to someone else comments and add your own

There is a website selling knock-off 'designer' clothing etc. for supposedly cheap prices. Someone from the site gets a membership to the forum here at Cute, and posts long lists of products as a "comment" on somebody's Project, inviting people to go to the site for good deals on their clothes & shoes. It's a long, long list and has a site address, you'll recognize it if you see it. Every time Veronika, the site owner, deletes that member, they just come back with a different screen name and do the same thing. The website is famalegoods.com, and is based in China. Don't go to the site, for two reasons. First, if they get a "click" from here, that makes money for them, and they'll never stop. Second, this site is so disreputable, there's no guarantee you won't get a virus, trojan, or worse. It's not impossible that all the banking information, credit card info, etc. on your computer could be compromised if you go there. Veronika keeps deleting them as fast as she can. For now, they seem to be just a pain in the neck and taking up space in Projects. There's no danger to you if you go to Projects, or comment on someone's work. Just ignore the spam posts, pass over them if you see one, and don't go to their website, you'll be ok. We're doing all we can, but these dorks are really persistent! Thanks & hugs, Marji

For nama2: Here a screenshot from one of those "comments" so you know how it looks like. Never has anything to do with the projects ;o)
If you see one please send a PM to test, marjialexa, meganne, mops and jrob (you can add all the names in one PM and send it to all of them at the same time).
Greetings, Bettina
