these are fsl button hole covers that I made for a very dear friend of mine. They look like crocheted lace, the stitches are sew delicate but the are really very pretty. I think they turned out really well & I hope that my friend likes them

Beautiful...how are these used? I am not familiar with button hole covers...Are they to cover the button? Sorry for being so dense...but really curious.

no such thing as a dumb question: you do up your button (which incidently has to match the circumference of the center of the cover)& then you put one on top of your plain old button. It really dresses up a blouse or a shirt. It makes something older to something kinda new Hugs Loralye

Thanks, Loralye for responding to my question as to how these are used (below), but how do you attach them?...do you sew them through the holes in the buttons....do you cover the buttons with them?...I love the thought, but still unsure about how to attach them...how do you keep them from curling up in the wash?...oh, soooo many questions...Thanks!
