Has anyone used one of these to make fringing ? see photo .
Singercraft guide 120987 from what I gather from searching the net was made over a long time for fringe making or other decorative edges. If so was it easy to used .

Is that the do-dad that you stitch over the narrow side of the bar to form the stitches and then pull it out to reveal the raised stitches? Then you clip the bobbin side on one side once you have tacked down the other side? I saw a tutorial on something like this, but didn't pay a LOT of attention because I didn't have anything like it. Looks like fun though.

I found it amongst my sewing stuff while I was hunting for something else but had no idea what it was until I google it.

I had something similar but was always scared that I would hit the needle on the metal so I went so slow that it took me ages to get any fringe. I think I could have run to Joanne's! and been home sewing fringe on in less time!

No, but it looks better than mine. Then I bought the one from Nancy's notions and it will only work on a high shank machine. Before that I made one and the fringe is still on it. The cats love it, one piece at a time! Lol!
