I thought other cuties might like to see a photo from when three Aussie cuties caught up for a coffee, chat, and some serious fabric purchase. I went to Melbourne recently to visit my newest grandson and managed to make a little time to meet Rosie(Ropheka) and Marianne (greysewist). We had a great time and as can be seen by the photo managed to add to our fabric stash quite well. We had not actually met in person before, but because of Cute and our own AUSEW we have become friends. Ruth

Please tell me what AUSEW is? I have 'googled' it, but didn't find anything.
Sorry Vicki, I misspelled it it is AusSewEn, it is a yahoo group of australian sewers and embroiderers, I was invited to join by Marianne,(greysewist) who I "met"through Cute. I have only been a member for a short time, but I have been involved with a Decor Swap, and a mugmat swap, and it is full of people who like myself are into machine embroidery.
Decor swap, where I was sent the most beautiful Journal, and I sent a table runner, and I also was involved with a mugmat exchange. Members are friendly, and happy to exchange tips and tricks for embroidery as well

I was the 3rd equation in this pic!! - it was so much fun and know most definitely we have to go back to finish off what we started ... lovely to meet Ruth and share her journey and of course Marianne lives just mins. away from me.

Actually I had more fabric on the table behind us, but i do think Marianne out did me, but only because i had to get it back to Adelaide, and had a weight limit on the flight, LOL next time it will be me afterall she who dies with most fabric wins!, Right Girls? lol
