This is my version of the free owl from The Mad Woman of Locke Street. I used vintage brown felt and vintage fur fabric.

Also used my vintage pinking shears to trim around the edge.

Very nice and I'm sure this owl smells very delicate of rosemary (if I pegged the branch right ;o).

Vintage brings out the greatness this owl is great. I love the fur and pinkie trim job. Been hopeful to make this one as it is on my tu it list.

Did your hands feel like vintage ones too, Edna, after you'd used those vintage pinking shears? Great job and I like his Rosemary branches as well.

They are very hard on the hands but I don't have any others. Bought them a few years ago at an auction in Hobart. Regarding the rosemary we have a bush growing outside and often use it in home made bread.
