Well I'm home from the quilt show! Whew what a day, so many vendors, so many quilts. There was a applique quilt of a sea turtle in the water and it didn't win a ribbon and I'm baffled as to why. It was so beautiful. Bought some quilting thread and a neat pattern for a hot air balloon quilt, looks pretty neat. I walked and walked and walked. What fun. Every local quilt shop was there - so many new things to see, ideas to get. I saw one quilt on display - are you ready for this - it has over 9900 squares in it!!!! Tiny little 4 patch blocks and tiny will star blocks. Whew a lot more than I would have tried. I think my girlfried took a pix, if she did I'll post it. I don't have a camera or cell phone (duh) so I couldn't take any pix. (hubby has the cell). So many demos of really cool rulers and stuff. I told myself before I left NO MORE FABRIC, and I was a good girl, I didn't buy any fabric! *giggle*
