I have made two quilts like this using the optical toy designs. The rhyme or song in the middle is something I sang to my children and then to my grandchildren. I hope to make 4 more so each of my grandchildren will have one quilt for their children.

I have a Janome 1100 and a Janome Horizon. I did rocking horses around the borders with the 1100 and free motioned in the blocks with the Horizon.

I think I have or had this same fabric and a baby quilt panel to match and it was a long time ago. This is a beautiful keepsake. I am hoping as my GKids graduate, to make them all a memory quilt with all their school pictures on. Next year my oldest GD will graduate, so it will be the start of 1 of 3.

The quilts are different sizes because this fabric had two borders, one smaller than the other. They are 28 1/2" x 34" and 30" x 36". Used up all the fabric I had to make these quilt so the next will use other fabric.

I can read the song, can you share it with us. Beautiful job and the designs are perfect for the fabric. I think I have or had this same fabric and it had a matching baby quilt panel to match. If not the same, very similar.
