Toddler hand knit sweater. Mickey and Donald embroideries were sewn using stick-on stabilizer.

The designs are embroidered directly onto the sweater so are completely washable.

I was petrified the first one I did but by using the same method as you embroider on a towel (stick on stabilizer on bottom and water soluble stabilizer on top), it works fine.

well done I have never heard of stick on stabilzer is it the same as steam a seam? which is iron on fusable

ok what is going on here I have under me 6 zeros? Have we stopped adding flowers since the site has changed? What am I missing? Gosh I really feel out of the loop?

The embroideries are added directly onto the sweater by using stick on stabilizer in the hoop of the machine. The sweater portion is not hooped but is held in place by the sticky stuff. Yes, you hold your breath because if you flub up, it means reknitting.
