HI All, At last I think I am at the end of a long horrible Winter. Have had a continuous cold (really one after another) since July. I still have bad sinus but the days are now getting warmer and sunny which makes me feel better. I have not been saying much as I couldn't concentrate on reading but have been checking in each day. Have done lots of sewing - mainly 3D plants which I have sold and tops for my towels. Have just finished some daffodils and now that my camera is working I shall take some photos.

Hard to tell the difference between a cold and sinus problems. The symptoms are so similar but both are a dreadful nuisance to put up with. Good to see you posting again. I've been unable to use my arm (shoulder and elbow) and type so haven't been on much either.

Guess it is all part of getting old.

In the case of my arm it was three separate injuries. lol That funny bone in your elbow isn't so funny when you crack it. Right when the shoulder injury and elbow was better the storm door whacked shut on the outside by the elbow. I've just been powering through.

Sounds painful. Hope you mend soon. Does this get you out of doing Housework?

Takes longer but still doing housework and dinner. Our In-Laws are coming for the first time Friday or Saturday so hear I've been doing Fall cleaning except windows. Even broke down and dusted. lol

We are on opposite sides of the earth. I am most afraid of getting the flu, as well as I do not like cold. Glad you made it though your tough season. I look forward to seeing your projects.

Think I am suffering because of the pollen of Spring - but I do love spring with all of the plants and new growth and flowers.

Good to see you back. Hope you continue to feel better every day. Just don't send it our way as we are going into fall here. Can't wait to see pictures of what you have been doing. One of my daughters love daffodils and I plan to make some of her Christmas gifts with them. Look forward to seeing how you used them

I was talking to a friend in Turkey the other day and she also has the Flu. I am not guilty of passing it onto her though --- Thank Goodness.

Hi Lyn, great to have you back. Here in South Africa we have also had the coldest and wettest winter. Although warmer it is still cold for this time of year. Roll on summer. Hugs Sarah.

Hate Winter. I get so down and when you have a cold as well it is the PITS.

When I get a cold I eat toast with peanut butter and raw onion on it onion is a natural antibiotic terrific for sore throats the peanut butter takes the strong tase away from the onion it sounds yuk but is nice. and for a blocked sinus i put a couple of drops of eucalyptus oil in a hot running bath and sit in it while it fills. and you may think i am crazy but a clear quartzcrystal held in the hand for a few mins til you feel a pulseating feeling an with the same hand hold it with 2 fingers just under the chin and so it is sticking out a little and you will be surprised how quick and how freely you can breath through the nose. it works.

Sounds very interesting will have to give it a try. I had 6 weeks of bronchitis and asthma this last winter and lots of medications so will have to try the natural way next time. Hugs Joyce

Off to the chemist to get something for my Spring headache. Love Spring but hate the headaches from the Pollen.
