Update on Karen (kttyhwk4)

I have just been talking to Karen's sister and she has given me some good news that Karen is now out of intensive care in a step-down room, but she is still very ill and doctors say she will probably be in hospital for at least six weeks, providing there are no setbacks.
She came so close that the doctors told her family they didn't think she would survive the surgery, but she's one very determined lady and now the outlook is brighter.
She is going to need our support to help keep her positive so your well wishes would be very gratefully appreciated and can be sent to her,
